Actual, proper, real hands-on with Alone in the Dark

Gamespot’s actually played Alone in the Dark, then written words about it on the internet. The piece runs from the beginning of the game and takes in combat, the inventory system, explosions, fire and fighting a zombie with a frying pan. In summary:

Overall we were really impressed with the way Alone in the Dark is shaping up. While there are still some issues at this stage, it’s an ambitious game that looks set to reboot the franchise in style.

Read it yourself.

So very very excited about this game and Dead Space. I need more horror with less shooting.

Im not that excited to go to Gamespot though.

  2. I’m praying Dead Space is the game I think it’s going to be. Praying, I tell you.

  3. I thought Dead Space *was* going to be all shooty? Anyway, I’ll save this preview for me tea break. In about ten minutes.
