Sony’s US PlayStation Day: one link to rule them all
May 17th, 2008 @ 20:37

The internet’s littered with links to media, impressions and God knows what else from the US version of Sony’s PlayStation Day. You know, the thing that happened in London weeks ago. You could crawl around looking at everything, or you could just look at this IGN page, which contains exactly all of the screens and movies released and has hands-on with all the games, unless we’re being blind. Choice is a stupid thing, anyway.

That IGN page just killed my PS3! Or at least made me wander over and turn it off - made the browser and machine crash.

Shame you couldn’t have done the same for Banjo news instead of giving us pages and PAGES of news on every tiny detail, bit of media or detailed logging of whenever a Banjo developer said ANYTHING.

I did. It’s here:

Banjo was by far the biggest story in the world that day, so we focused on it. News is news.

Maybe as a news site we shouldn’t report the news any more?
Or maybe we could write all the stories, then send them out to each of our readers who could then submit a vote on what particular stories the wanted to see published.
Then we could put the winning stories in a hat and select two of the winning ones to go on the site and send the people who chose the most popular story some money.

That IGN page crashed my PS3 when I used it to browse. Go IGN!
Incidentally I can’t post here using the PS3 browser either. It lets you get to “Submit Comment” but then comes up with a search error.

“Maybe as a news site we shouldn’t report the news any more?”
I think yer man there has a problem with VG247’s objectivity. Don’t take it personally. You’re a massive Banjo fan therefore you’re going to report on every minutiae of the game. Same as I do with LBP stuff
