Is gaming particularly big in Portugal, then? I know the Spanish love their games, but I’ve never really thought of Portugal as being big game fans. I can only think of one or two Portuguese forumites over the years.

“Small but growing” is an accurate assessment, I think.

Accurate indeed. I’m Portuguese and gaming has some impact, although we’re too much of a “Sony country” for my liking. Our market is somewhat small, so it’s kind of easy for one company “smother” the other ones out.
However we have some forward thinking people here, so it’s nice to see Lusoplay reaching for a bigger community and ensuring that Portugal has access to the same quality of videogaming media that few other countries do.

The PlayStation “thing” is the same all across southern Europe to be honest, OM. Spain and Italy are very similar.
