Activision’s fully announced Guitar Hero World Tour, as you can see on Eurogamer.
This is the official name for Guitar Hero 4, apparently, and - as we all now know - will feature vocals and drums as well as guitars.
Van Halen, Linkin Park, The Eagles and Sublime are all confirmed for the game, which also includes Music Studio, “a full compliment of tools to create digital music from scratch”. Once recorded, you can perform your track in-game, or upload and share it with your friends online via the new GHTunes service.
There’ll also be full online play in a Battle of the Bands mode.
There’s a full feature on Guitar Hero World Tour here and the launch trailer after the break.

This will be your Christmas present from me, Pat. We can play online together, you can play guitar and I’ll play drums. It’ll be brilliant!

I don’t sing. Unless the Eagles track is Hotel California. In which case I might make an exception.
