It looked pretty good on the telly. In a ‘no chance I’m buying that’ kind of a way.

I was just playing this demo, and it caused me to turn the 360 off in utter annoyance!
The racing is good, the cars are responsive and handle really well. It’s the kind of stuff that is just the right balance between arcade and simulation, where the speed/handling is exagerated, but not in a ‘hyper-physics’ way.
But it’s just too punishing!
The AI cars stay on the perfect racing line most of the time and if you get in their way, expect to be rammed off the track.
No… actually, it’s more like being nudged, or tapped even, as they fly past you without even checking their speed, making you do a perfect 180 spin!
Why do I do an exact 180 every time I get touched by another car???
Bad design, that’s what. It’s like getting hit by a blue shell every time a car decides to drive through you!
I’m definitely not buying this game, thanks to this most irritating of demo’s.
