Rumour: HMV to announce Rock Band discounts today
May 24th, 2008 @ 06:51
We’ve been told that HMV will announce a decent Rock Band discount in the UK today, putting the game and instrument kit on sale well below the RRP and offering free MS Points to those willing to take the plunge.
Accoding to our tipster, Rock Band will be on sale as a bundle of the game and the instrument pack for £150, £29.98 below the RRP. Also, the retailer is planning to give away 2,100 MS Points with the bundle, making a total saving of £49.97 from the suggested price.
HMV is currently listing the game and the pack at £159.99.
Bear in mind that Play is already offering the game and instrument pack for £139.98 in the UK.
Apparently the HMV deal is going to be announced today. Thanks, Habe!

It seems there’s a problem with your “latest comments” block not being updated or so. moriss’ comment looks different there.

Such a ludicrous price on this. Despite being really excited about the game initially I’m now tempted to wait for Guitar Hero: World Tour.
