No more Crysis updates says Crytek, reason “in the very, very near future”
June 2nd, 2008 @ 07:34

Crytek’s confirmed that there won’t be any more updates to Crysis, saying that “there almost certainly will not be a patch 1.3″ for the shooter.
The reason for the decision, that company informs in its first monthly update on the game, will be revealed “in the very, very near future”.
Users are urged in that update to “not miss the next Crysis Monthly Update coming to you in June!”
It’s worth remembering that Crytek trademarked Crysis: Warhead back in March, so using our incredible deductive skills, we’d say an add-on may be on the cards. We’ll ask EA this morning.

I’d definitely buy a Crysis add-on if they promise to cut back on the Aliens and make it like the first 2/3s of the first game.

Pretty unlikely as the only thing left to fight on the island is the aliens, everyone else is rather destroyed. Real shame because fighting North Koreans (in the game) was great fun, fighting the aliens (in the game, maybe reality too) wasn’t.

Weren’t the Japanese meant to be turning up or something? I hope that they somehow manage to get some human baddies into the game, however much they have to bend the story!
