According to Gamespot, 2K’s going to release a demo of Civilization Revolution this Thursday on PSN and Live.
The site says it’s going to be include single-player and online play, and will be released worldwide an 2am PST on Live.
It’ll be part of Sony’s weekly PSN update in North America only, apparently, with a global PS3 demo launched planned for “later this year.”

I think this got an 8 in Edge this month. Quite surprised.
I never really got into Civ for some reason.

This seems like a pretty good game, it’ll be interesting to see how the interface transfers to console as C&C was awful - far and away the worst game I’ve played on 360.

Awesome. Blerk: Yep, it got an 8. Apparently it’s made the transition to console pretty well. I’ll admit that I’m actually excited by this.

Jeff Green of GFW/1Up was talking about it on a recent GFW Radio podcast and saying how well it’s made the transfer to console. It’s obviously simplified but it’s apparently still recognisably Civ.

It’s only 30 quid on Amazon as well. I think I’ll give it a try after that Edge review.

I’d love this. Civ’s brilliant. But the chances of me ever playing it are zero. So I won’t.
