Intellisponse rumour round-up - lest we forget
June 16th, 2008 @ 12:49

Intellisponse, a market research firm, last night got “internetalised” in a rather brutal way, causing a flood of rumours on unannounced games. We’re mindful that some of you don’t have to convince your wives and husbands that writing nonsense about spacemen and pretend cars in the middle of the night is “necessary”, so here’s everything you missed through yesterday evening and early this morning.

Zoinks! That’s the scariest Laurel and Hardy picture ever! I’ll be having nightmares about that!

I think it’s CG. It seemed appropriate, anyway.

I assume this company will get taken to the cleaners for all sorts of NDA breaches and never work in the industry again? Surely they’ll get their ass handed to them on a plate (in court).
June 16th, 2008 at 1:16 pm
They’ll get screwed in court… but before that happens they’ll lose all their clients anyway.
June 16th, 2008 at 1:16 pm
To be honest, I have no idea. I’ve never seen anything remotely like this before.
June 16th, 2008 at 1:21 pm
Who were the surveys *intended* to go to? I’m surmising it wasn’t to the general public. Retail?
June 16th, 2008 at 1:22 pm
Again, I have no idea. I assume they’re concepts that either go to focus groups or consultants.
June 16th, 2008 at 1:23 pm
The problem wasn’t so much that there were surveys… the problem was that someone had access to 1 survey and then worked out a very easy way of getting access to all the others.
June 16th, 2008 at 1:24 pm
It wasn’t very well protected, no.
June 16th, 2008 at 1:25 pm
In that it wasn’t protected at all… yes.
June 16th, 2008 at 1:26 pm
Bit of a shame 95% of it was pretty meh really, isn’t it?

The only potential megaton is Trioxide… and no-one can work out what it is exactly.

Sounds to me like it’s one of those “streaming games to your PC over the ‘net” things. You connect in and play the game remotely, their servers beam the video and audio back to your PC. The ‘you have to use the proper controllers’ thing sort of gives it away. It’ll never work.
June 16th, 2008 at 1:34 pm
I was being sarcastic
June 16th, 2008 at 1:42 pm
Oh. Do you already know what it is, then? I’m a bit slow on the uptake today.
June 16th, 2008 at 1:45 pm
I don’t know, nope. I missed that, tbh.
June 16th, 2008 at 2:46 pm
Did they turn the news off this afternoon, then?
June 16th, 2008 at 3:10 pm
Fell asleep. Intellisponse killed me.

That’s just an extension of the guesslist from the other day.
June 16th, 2008 at 3:32 pm
Ja, skipped it. It got bundled into the price drop stuff on Friday.
June 16th, 2008 at 3:35 pm
Oh. Must’ve missed all that. Friday was my turn to be asleep.
June 16th, 2008 at 3:38 pm
Don’t think I’m not grateful. All links are good.
I wish everyone would go to sleep at lunch time in the UK. It’s very civilised.
June 16th, 2008 at 3:41 pm
Mmmm… siesta.
June 16th, 2008 at 3:45 pm
It’s too warm.
June 16th, 2008 at 3:48 pm
That’s the point of a siesta. You sleep through the hottest part of the day.
June 16th, 2008 at 3:49 pm
It’s a great idea. I didn’t intend to go comatose for two hours, however. Some kind of “alarm” device is needed, I think.
June 16th, 2008 at 4:54 pm
Not so much a leak as a NEWS FELCH!
June 16th, 2008 at 9:15 pm
Yay all fake.
