Riccitiello: Boom Blox sales have met our expectations

June 17th, 2008 @ 23:25

Speaking at the fun-sounding William Blair & Company’s 28th Annual Growth Stock Conference, EA boss John Riccitiello has said that he’s happy with the performance of Spielberg Wii game Boom Blox.

“Right now, [Boom Blox] has met our expectations internally based on the model that was put forward by Kathy [Vrabeck] and her team,” he said. “It has continued to sell well - it did break into the Top Ten for the Wii.”

Boom Blox has sold 60,000 units in the US.

    I doubt they’ve even covered Spielberg’s fee.

  2. Wonder how much it would have sold if it was released at a more realistic price?

  3. Complete bomb. Shame.

  4. I’m with DrDamn. Full price game in Denmark. i.e. 549 kroner/£58.85.

    Sod that.
