Alone in the Dark was only sent to Gamereactor yesterday, says Atari
June 18th, 2008 @ 22:29
Danish site Xbox Life is reporting that Atari only sent Alone in the Dark to Gamereactor Norway to review yesterday.
The site’s 3/10 review was only up for four hours before Gamereactor.no pulled it.
Xbox Life reckons its staff have played the game and it’s much more than a ‘3′.
We’re saying nothing.

It takes 12-15 hours to complete. Which I suppose is another news item for you. Hurrah.

Also, you can use the medical sprays as explosives if you toss them into the air and shoot them. Make THAT into a news item, morriss. Go on.

You’re throwing the gauntlet down aren’t you? I heard the thud.

Anyway, all that stuff will be included in our superior review next week.

Maybe he was REALLY eager to do the review. =)

It’s definitely worth more than a 3. Even if it is worryingly clunky in places.

Since when do developers and publishers set site’s review policies?

Since always?

Bollocks to that. It’s been bad in the past, but recently it just seems to have got worse. With quite a few promos I’ve had to review, there’s been a slip of paper detailing the review guidelines and publishing policy. I just use those bits of paper as lining for my gerbil’s house…
Cheeky bastards. The Tecmo guy seems to be saying the same thing too. Here’s a thought, stop making shit games then perhaps they’ll stop getting shit reviews!?
Just a thought mind…
