As Metacritic shows, Metal Gear Solid 4 is now the seconf-highest scoring console exclusive this generation, next only to Mario Galaxy.
MGS4 has an average score of 95 percent, while the vaunted Wii platformer managed 97 percent.
Thanks, N4G.

Not about this game… but has anyone noticed that Metacritic is now using pretty much any little blog to take scores from? It used to be that you could rely on it sticking to the big sites / magazines but I haven’t even heard of 50% of the reviewers they use now.

Well earned too.
So much care has been taken with every single part of it, it’s a really special experience.

Well, maybe I misunderstand something here, but I see this:
1) Grand Theft Auto IV - 98 (PS3 & 360)
2) Super Mario Galaxy - 97 (Wii)
3) BioShock - 96 (360)
3) The Orange Box - 96 (360)
5) Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots - 95 (PS3)
5) The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess - 95 (Wii)
Edit: exclusive. Stupid me.

Galaxy and Orange Box should be 1 and 2, for my money. Though I’ve not played much of MGS4 yet, admittedly.
