RE5 is a simultaneous release, assures Capcom

There was a sketchy rumour going round this week that Capcom was planning a timed exclusive on Resident Evil 5. Just to be sure, it isn’t.

“The assertion is false,” said Capcom’s Christian Svensson. “RE5 is a multiplatform release that fits with our oft-stated crossplatform strategy.”

He added: “For the avoidance of doubt… simultaneous release.”

And that’s that.
