PS3F’s posted hands-on impressions of SOCOM: Confrontation here. It looks as though an embargo’s gone up, as IGN’s just posted three new trailers and some fresh shots of the tactical shooter as well. Knock yourself out.
Update: And here’s the official headset, courtesy of Joystiq. It comes bundled with the game.

Looks sub-par. The total lack of anti-aliasing is highly disturbing, I mean c’mon who wants to stare at jagged fences and cables, just thinking of the shimmering effect gives me a headache!
