New Halo game for E3, says CVG
July 4th, 2008 @ 10:22

This CVG report - citing a “source” - claims that a new Halo game is to be announced at E3, and that it won’t include Master Chief.
There’s no other detail. This may be the Peter Jackson Halo project, but it looks as though we’ll have to wait for the show to find out.
The news comes after SacasticGamer posted two rumours last night saying that Halo 4 would be announced at the LA show later this month.
Gavin Ogden, the author of the CVG article, used to be the editor of the UK OXM, so there’s probably more to this than rumour.

I hope this is the Peter Jackson thing… I’m not sure I’m ready for a non Bungie developed Halo FPS.

I can hold my hands up and say I have absolutely no idea what this is.

It has to be the PJ thing. If it’s a Bungie continuation from where 3 left off a) I’d wet myself and b) it really ain’t happenin’ so soon.

No Chief, no game. Basically.

It’s the Halo/Lord of the Rings cross-over. Spartans rampaging through Middle-Earth, teabagging hobbits.
