Who's to say that's definitely DS footage? If it's almost identical barring one dungeon, touchscreen functionality and Wi-Fi play, then it's possible the assets aren't ready for the DS version yet, and they're just running SNES footage to get people excited until they're ready to release a 'proper' trailer.

It's notable that there's nothing there that shows both screens, which is odd considering the press release shouts about special 'dual screen presentation'.

And yes, the second-half of the logo looks shit.

A pity that the second half of the logo still looks like some MS Powerpoint Word Art.

Well, the music *would* be the same if the sound chip was as capable as the original SNES SPC one. The channel that plays the melody in that video hasn't got the same reverb the original does. GBA FF6/3 remake suffered the same problem.

It's amazing to think that the old SPC700 chip can still outperform newer hardware.

Well, for all intents and purposes that is the SNES version. Same intro, same graphics, same music - hell, I can't believe they didn't even rearrange the music. Kind of disappointing in a way.

I guess someone at Squenix R&D finally came up with a working SNES emulator for the DS. :-(

Frog FTW. Glad they've kept the graphics pretty much the same.
