Legendary opening Pandora’s Box in September
July 7th, 2008 @ 16:30
It looks like Minotaur-hunting season begins sooner than we thought: Atari’s shown a September release date for FPS Legendary.
The Pandora’s Box-inspired game is being developed by Spark Unlimited, and will release for 360, PS3 and PC.

Whose brilliant idea was it to make a fantasy game revolving around Pandora’s Box into a first-person shooter? It’s the most generic and pedestrian genre there is, not a good fit for this sort of game concept. Not a good fit at all.

Heh. I just hope it’s good enough to keep its head above water if it’s coming out at the end of the year.

I do try and keep an open mind about all games prior to their release, but this does have the whiff of failure about it. I really hope Atari prove me wrong, though.
