Brand new Killzone 2 footage released

July 14th, 2008 @ 15:18

Threespeech has it, and we think it’s looking better all the time if we’re being honest. Go Guerrilla, etc.

See for yourself.

Not so sure about the vehicle stuff there, but the on foot stuff is looking real good.

  3. pft.

I was just going to say that the on foot stuff looks pretty ‘meh.’ but the vehicle stuff looked pretty intense! lol.

It’s just not as ‘wow’ as it used to be way back in 2005.

I think that they’d be better off shipping this asap so they don’t have to risk going up against COD6 tbh.

…any more slips and I can see it happening.

  4. Meh. Could do with being a bit more colourful.

Then again, I’m probably not part of the demographic at which this particular title is aimed.

G1GAHURTZ: The vehicle stuff looked intense? I suppose we have different definitions of the word… rolling slowly along firing off a million rockets and having a million fired back doesn’t seem intense to me. :P

I didn’t think it looked as good as previously. The explosions could do with a bit of work - heard that somewhere else. But then maybe I’m just getting used to how games should look and the bar is being raised. I’ll go back and play some Ps1 games it’ll make it look better.

    lol.

I dunno… all those explosions would just make me want to run for cover.

It’s probably the slowness of the tank and the fact that you’re probably only a fraction away from the thing getting blown sky high that does it for me.
