On GamersHell. You owe it to yourself to watch this. The Bethesda RPG was shown being played for the first time in the Microsoft E3 press conference tonight and, as you’d expect, looked stunning. Get it.

Is it the same as the E3 thing? To be honest that was really disappointing - hope it was just the way they had it set-up to demo.

Actually first half is the vid from the conference (live actors bit) second half is lots of better clips. Feeling more optimistic now.

Bethesda did a terrible live presentation at the MS conference. I’m surprised they’d do such an uninspiring, buggy and apparently slapdash demo, it made the game look awful.
Unsurprisingly the NMA lot feel a sense of vindication, but Fallout fanboys or not I can’t see anyone being impressed by that showing, it was the very definition of meh
Edit: Hm, not seen it in higher res, nor the bit that wasn’t from the conference, so downloading now.

Yeah it did look beautiful, but everything else about it looked awful imo, none of it worked well.
I’m not a huge Fallout fan, I just expected something a bit more inspiring and dramatic after the excellent atmospheric teasers.
Edit: OK, watched it now and this isn’t the presentation from the conference at all, this is the new trailer and it looks pretty good

those two videos from E3 look good to me
perusing NMA is…well, its like swimming through a sea of dead venomous seals that hate everything. even kittens.
In fairness even with these two videos we’ve still seen barely anything of the game. pretty much just combat because lets face thats going to sell a lot better than “oh hello there mr raider, would you like to buy one cow…or two?”. dont get me wrong id love to see some dialogue stuff and everything else but they’d need a good 30minutes to do it some kind of justice.
as it stands we still need to wait until the games out before coming to any concrete “this game ownzorz” or “omg they destroyed fallout” conclusions.
