Mattrick: We will sell more consoles this generation than Sony
July 14th, 2008 @ 19:16
Keynoting at this year’s Microfot E3 conference, Don Mattrick, MS senior vice president, announced that he was confident that the Xbox 360 will “outsell the PlayStation 3 this generation.”
The announcement was made as he boasted that Xbox owners have spent over $1 billion on content and how 360 software outsold both Playstation 3 and Wii in 2007.
We love E3.

Very true Shatner. Likely not in Europe either.

No, no they won’t. Even if they did in the US, they are getting well and truly hammered in Japan and are being beaten in the UK.

Gamoc, you really need to let go, mate. Give credit where credit is due and remain diplomatic and critical when they talk shit.
I’m sure Sony will say something similar tomorrow and then Ninty will just get their willies out and say, “LOOK AT THIS!
WE WIN!”

Holy shit, I hope Nintendo don’t get their willies out.

Isn’t that how they get the kids to buy their console?

The Wii’s success reminds me of that South Park sketch: “You have big pensis. Very large.” etc.

I…was saying what I thought…
It is a fairly generic comment for a an employee of either company, though.
