Right here, in all its sweeping-epic-like glory. Also, if you didn’t already know, you can download the trailer right now in HD on Xbox Live.
You lucky people.

Frankly that looks fucking awesome. Will buy!

Looks wicked doesn’t it.
So Blerk, has the press conference tipped the boat yet? Or are you going to wait until tomorrow to finally make up your mind?
July 14th, 2008 at 10:37 pm
No, I’d already decided to get a 360 even before the FF thing. I’d grown tired of waiting for Sony to get their shit together. Being able to grab FF as well without waiting for PS3s to get cheaper is an unexpected bonus.
Probably pick one up round about Christmas time. Hopefully they’ll have furnished Europe with 60gb machines by then.

Right. Well, err…congratulations?
July 14th, 2008 at 10:49 pm
What do I win?
July 14th, 2008 at 10:52 pm
You won something the other day, did you not?
July 14th, 2008 at 10:52 pm
But I want to be full of win!
July 14th, 2008 at 10:58 pm
You are, mate. You are. Everyone thinks so.
July 14th, 2008 at 11:00 pm
I said “win”!

I still need to play the first three.
/doesn’t watch.

They don’t follow on or anything. You can play them in isolation without fear.
Of course, you really should play SO3 because it was full of awesome.
July 14th, 2008 at 11:09 pm
Yeah, I was going to play SO3, but my mate had it and said it was the longest game he’d ever played - and he plays more games than I do. So I decided not to bother.
July 14th, 2008 at 11:11 pm
It was pretty long, yeah. But it had the most ‘what the fuck?!!’ plot twist in any game ever, so it was worth it.

Looks lovely. SO3 was the first game with AI allies that I didn’t want to toss into a lava pit so I’m looking forward to what the combats like.

If anyone’s interested, I made a gallery of some screengrabs from the trailer so that you can see the gameplay bits without risking blinking and missing them. They look very nice. That is all.

Blerk: Good man.
