Especially without anyone naming names. :P

Should have use PSN for MGO, I reckon they probably regret making their own system for it now.

I like the look of the update though, I'll have to grab it once it's all fixed up.

Sony do have their own servers. Warhawks et al is running on them.

More to the point is theres nothing wrong with the actual game, its running perfectly fine. In order to buy things from the online store, thanks to Konamis endless wisdom you have to do it through the PS3s internal browser and go to a specific konami site.

All the pack contents were d-loaded along with the new patch, so everyone that got that patch has the pack. They just need to buy the key for it (like everybody's Golf DLC).

So its just Konami's web-side stuff thats borked.

Then they'd simply be called copycats by the xbox fraternity.

Sony give developers the option of letting THEM decided how they want to do things. Different developers have different levels of competency. Resistance launched with hitherto unseen standard of 40 player multiplayer FPS on a console. COD4 had server issues. Burnout Paradise, again, does things its own way.

At least when one developer's online servers get borked at Christmas you won't be locked out of evey single online game you own on your PS3. Nor be paying for it as it happens.

Not that I can ever imagine something like that happening. No sir.
