Core doesnlt just mean Mariuo and Zelda, you twonks! Aside from the obvious chouces like StarFox, F-Zero and Pilot Wings, how about revisiting some old NES IPs like Kid Icarus and Punch Out? Or, how about some barnd new character-driven IPs?

Geki - I think the reaction to Nintendo's conference merely serves to highlight just how outdated E3 is. This was the reason the "old" E3 was demolished in the first place. Platform holders didn't like being forced into making a big showing at a specific time in the year when they weren't actually ready to say anything. Both Microsoft and Sony got badly caught out by the format in the hardware transition, and I suspect Nintendo will react in a pretty obvious way to this backlash by not turning up next year.

Well, that rather flies in the face of Reggie's comments from the last week or so.

Were it any other comapany we'd be seeing "left hand hand doesn't know what right hand is saying or doing" comments. As it's Nintendo, we obviously don't bother with that sort of thing because, y'know, it's Nintendo.

Frankly, based on what they shown in the past and in the present and by cancelling more interesting suff like H.A.M.M.E.R. I don't really believe either Reggie or Iwata.

Well, he's actually apologising for the lack of Mario and Zelda whilst at the same time also confirms that, the core gamers only have those 2 real games to look forward to from Nintendo...
Ofcourse other then that its all a misunderstand on our behalf, so really we should apologise...
