VG247 has been reliably informed this morning that Ubisoft’s first-person survival game, I Am Alive, will make its first proper appearance at Game Convention in Leipzig next month.
Ubisoft has declined to comment on the talk, saying it has no information on the game.
I Am Alive was announced at E3 last week. I first CGI teaser was seen at the show which does nothing more than outline the game’s premise, a post-earthquake scramble for survival in San Francisco.
Games Convention takes place on August 20-24.

Bit tedious this isn’t it? Surely the game can stand on its own without “token hotty” producer?

It’s all the other buggers who work on the games for no recognition that I feel sorry for.
Anyway, this could be good. Looking forward to seeing what they’ve been up to!

It’s a sorry state of affairs when the Producer gets more recognition than the Lead Designer, that’s for sure.

He’s probably a big hairy bloke, though.
Watched the trailer again and yeah… I’ve got good vibes. I’m imagining something that’s a cross between “SOS: Final Escape” and “28 Days Later”, with a bit of “Poseidon Adventure” thrown in for good measure.
Crap name, though. Should’ve called it something else. Just ‘Alive’ would’ve been better.

…or even “I’m Alive” would have a better flow to it. “I Am Alive” makes it sound like being alive comes as a surprise.
