We have “blockbuster stuff for Europe,” says Reeves
July 25th, 2008 @ 15:33

SCEE president David Reeves has said that Sony will make some some blockbuster announcements at this year’s Game Convention in Leipzig.
“There will be some global announcements,” he said, speaking at E3. “The announcements we make will be more important for the local markets that come to Leipzig.
“And it’s not just Leipzig, it’s Game Convention – if we had one in London we’d do it in London. We have a number of things which is real blockbuster stuff for Europe.”
Thanks, MCV.

More services, no doubt.
And Hardware 2, of course.

Better be some games this time. Last year was dry as a bone.

Well, I hope they show some more of Infamous. And I’d like to see Heavy Rain too, please. And… some other stuff. I’ll let them keep Team Ico’s stuff until TGS as a gesture of good-will.

They can show Hardware 2 and make it their ‘big’ announcement if they want to royally embarrass themselves and fail as badly as they did at E3.
Or they can show the one-two punch of Heavy Rain/Trico and get some small measure of credibility back.
EDIT Blerk don’t ‘allow’ them to hold Trico back, they don’t deserve the courtesy

Well what ever happens, dont exspect anything Japanese, thats all for the TGS…
And quit whinning about E3, Sony showed more exclusives then Nintendo and MS.

Yeah, but they were just ’so what’ shooters.
Plus Team Ico games are as beloved in the West as they are in Japan so treating Ueda’s latest as a niche Japanese title would not be a smart move, neither would it be appreciated.
