Speaking in the GameTrailers interview after the break, Peter Molyneux confirms that Lionhead has plans for another three Fable games.
“We’ve got plans for Fable three, four and five,” he says, adding, “it’s actually a big story arc.”

Wait! These games are linked? I thought they were entirely separate from each other.

I’m trying to resist. But I watched some footage of II this morning and it does look pretty good. There’s no way I’m playing the first one, though.

They’re not linked as such. It’s just the same world… 500 years later.

Er, did he say that he couldn’t talk about the new game and then mention straight after that it was a sports game, or was that just the way the interview was edited?

Just the way it looked. He was just talking about games that he thought could do with a shake up. (He also mentioned driving games)
