On Gamekyo. We’re excited. The Guerilla shooter has to be one of the best looking projects currently in the works on PS3, as this new set of images testifies. It’s out in February.

Yeah it looks fantastic no question but so did Crysis and that was as dull as dishwater. That’s the risk of games were the selling point is the tech not the game.
And Guerilla have a mediocre back catalogue when it comes to gameplay which doesn’t help either, people seem to forget that Killzone 1 was a dud.

@Rainer
People also seem to forget Killzone 1 was about 4 years ago and a much smaller project. There could be like … new people working on it! :O
I’m a little guarded as the AI shown in gameplay tends to have been set on easy so looks a bit poor. Graphically it looks very good and indeed very smooth - something Killzone 1 wasn’t - see things can change ;).

People often seem to disregard Killzone: Liberation when talking about Guerillas reputation. Sure it was a smaller project, but whilst the difficulty level was overly punishing, the gameplay was really spot on, and they’ve pretty much said that the cover system used in that was a trial run for how Killzone 2’s cover system would work.
