We want EA to be leading sports brand in the world, says Moore

Peter Moore wants EA Sports to be the leading sports brand in the world. Nothing like a challenge, right?
“EA has had an extremely successful sports brand for years, but we’re evolving with new experiences targeting new consumers in our space,” he told MCV.
“There’s a hunger that fuels our teams to challenge to be the leading sports brand in the world.”
“We need to knock down the barriers to those who find the learning curve of our games too steep, and find new areas in sports – and health and wellness – that our brand can truly make a difference.”
Go Peter. Go go go.

Like, sports videogame brand (which I think they’ve already succeeded at), or sports brand generally? I mean, are they competing for mindshare with Reebok and Man Utd now?

They want to be bigger than Adidas and Reebok and Nike and everyone. Yeah. Good luck with that.
