SCEE just confirmed that Ratchet & Clank: Quest for Booty will cost only £10 when it releases for PSN this Thursday.
The game will come out on Blu-ray on September 12, at the same price.

4 hours or something. But that’s how long PoP Sands of time was and that was a full price title.
At 10 pounds I’m definetly going to buy this.

Well, quite - once you know what you’re doing. But you couldn’t possibly clear it in four hours on your first play-through.

A very smart move. I see this more as a paid-for playable demo for the full game albeit with original content. I can see it driving a lot of purchases for the full game which you can get for just £15 now.

Could be a good method for some new games, have a paid for demo about the same length as this and if it proves popular, do a full retail release.

I never bought R&C: Tools of Destruction because I was unable to play the PSN-demo. The reason for this was the lack of option to invert the vertical-view.
Could some one please confirm/deny the existence of the above mentioned option in the full retail version. TIA!

I was listening to the 1Up Show podcast about this yesterday and the guys on there were saying it’s more like two and a half hours than four.

If you steam through it, I’m sure they’re right, but that’s the great thing about R&C games, there’s usually so much to explore and side games to keep you busy for as long as you want.

If you like R & C then you have to buy this just to complete your collection.
