US gets 80Gb PS3 a couple of weeks early

August 19th, 2008 @ 08:59

Engadget is reporting that US retailer Best Buy has already begun selling the 80Gb PS3. The $399 console isn’t due out in the States until September.

The 80Gb is hitting European shores this Friday, whilst our Australian brothers have to wait another week.

And that’s that.

  1. If it’s ready it makes sense to just get it into the shops and build on the MGS4 momentum before it fades entirely.
