Gearbox has “had conversations” about Halo game

According to a Variety source, “Gearbox has definitely had conversations with Microsoft about doing a new “Halo” game and is very excited at the prospect.”

The post comes after a second rumour on the game appeared in the US OXM earlier this week, specifically saying the title is Halo 4.

Reported Ben Fritz does say there, however, that his source isn’t sure if a deal’s been done.

“Last my source heard, there was no deal in place,” he said. “So as far as I can tell, it’s quite possible Gearbox will be doing Halo 4, (or whatever they end up calling it), but it’s not a certainty yet.”
