Two-Two has confirmed that BioShock 2 will release in its fiscal 2009, meaning the game won’t ship before November 1 this year.
The news came as part of a financial statement detailing the firm’s third quarter for fiscal 2008.

I’m going through Bioshock now as it happens, and it’s really rather creepy. I’m thoroughly unimpressed with the gameplay mechanics themselves, I mean it’s a very poor FPS, but the atmosphere and story are excellent. I’ve just entered Neptune, and it speaks volumes that I’m compelled to go on for the story alone.

Not confirmed yet. But I’d hedge my bets on a simultaneous release.
