Stardock’s Sins of the Solar Empire has sold more than 400,000 boxed copies and 100,000 digital units, according to this Gama report.
Apparently the RTS’s success is partly owed to the fact it’ll run on ancient graphics hardware.
“Sins of a Solar Empire was explicitly designed to work on a wide variety of machines,” said Stardock boss Brad Wardell. “It will run on a four-year-old video card, and it looks great.”
