Deus Ex 3 to be revealed in the next PC Zone
September 8th, 2008 @ 13:23

According to this NeoGAF post, Deus Ex 3 is going to make a first appearance in the next issue of UK mag PC Zone.
The reveal’s part of the magazine’s 200th issue, apparently.
There’s no detail as yet, but we’ll be all over this. Thanks, Blerk.

Excellent. It’s ages since I had a good meh.

I’ll be very interested to see this. For Eidos’s sake, I hope it’s nothing short of amazing.

@patlike
That would be expecting a Jesus-style miracle.

Well, I’m keeping everything crossed. Be if Eidos Montreal can do something worthwhile so early on.

This better be good. Or else I cannot guarantee everyone involved will come out unharmed.

Amen wz! Ion Storm effed up Invicible War, let’s see what EM can do with this one.

Don’t kill me, but I swear it was Invisible Wall.
Invincible War?
September 8th, 2008 at 3:41 pm
heres hoping they’re using the Dunia engine from Far Cry 2
September 8th, 2008 at 3:44 pm
Invisible War, n00bs. Even I know that and I hate Deus Ex.
September 8th, 2008 at 3:48 pm
Shut it Blerk, all the answers were there, don’t pretend to be all knowledgeable
We aren’t n00bs, we just thoguht the last Dues Ex was a mess. Bring on Warren Spektor! (sp?)

There is no “last Dues Ex” but the original Deus Ex. There have been rumours of a sequel, yes, but everyone knows that was a cheap Chinese counterfeit.

I am sorry but the name Deus Ex lets me categorise it as such. And it was crap.

Eidos Montreal are also rumoured to be working on a new Thief game but there hasn’t been any news about that for ages. I never did like Deus Ex much thanks to a setting that did nothing for me, but for the sake of Thief I’m praying they don’t fuck up Deus Ex.

Deus Ex 3… wouldn’t they need to make a Deus Ex 2 first?
September 8th, 2008 at 5:49 pm
Blasphemers!!! Deus Ex is the greatest game ever made! *rants for an hour about it’s greatness* …(And yes, Thief I & II are also very, very good games)
September 8th, 2008 at 6:25 pm
Deus Ex was awesome! A true classic and one of the best games of the last 20 years imho. Deus 2 was clearly lesser but still an enjoyable experience, hopefully those wacky french Canadians can take Deus to the next level like we all hope they will.

Deus Ex is one of the greatest games ever made, without question.
September 8th, 2008 at 8:33 pm
Nah, Deus Ex was just System Shock without the interesting plot and setting

What’s more interesting than bio-enhancements, clones, robots, aliens, grand conspiracy theories and Chinese triads??
September 8th, 2008 at 10:50 pm
DX was a fantastic game. Still one of my faves.
September 8th, 2008 at 11:01 pm
Heh, may sound weird but the experience of breaking your legs and then crawling round was a new one for me, to say the least.
Wish there were still such imaginative HUDs.
Games were way more innovative back then.

“What’s more interesting than bio-enhancements, clones, robots, aliens, grand conspiracy theories and Chinese triads??”
Bio-enhancements, deep space, robots, parasites, zombies, residual psychic emanations and a rampant homicidal female AI of course!

Well retorted.
WTF are you talking about though?
