GOA makes public apology for WAR beta failure
September 8th, 2008 @ 11:21
According to this GI story, GOA’s issued a statement apologising for registration problems with the now-open WAR beta.
Although servers have opened, and closed beta testers have been able to enter the new phase without any problems, account registration and authentication for new players is not working.
“I rarely address players directly, but I wanted to write you as too few of you have been able to access the open beta today,” said GOA’s chief executive, Ghislaine Le Rhun, on the European WAR site.
“We have not yet solved the issue of saturated Open Beta key activations that we’re currently experiencing,” Le Rhun said. “I am sincerely sorry for this, and I understand all the frustration the situation has spawned.”

WTF, again it looks like amateurs are working for GOA.
They were warned numerous time that Flash page will cause them major problems and each time they disregarded us.

I doubt Mythic will have been pleased, to be honest.

I hope there’s some breach in their contract that allows EA/Mythic to take back EU publishing rights at some future date, GOA are completely useless as yesterday’s events (and today’s actually it’s still not working) show.

i gave up and switched to the hassle free US beta, seems like a fun game, definitely think i’ll be switching to it from WoW, but GOA are going to have to earn my business cause right now EAMythic have got it and ping be damned
