EA to allow multiple accounts for each Spore install
September 19th, 2008 @ 18:57

According to this BigDownload story, Spore producer Lucy Bradshaw has confirmed that EA is to allow multiple accounts per install of the Maxis game.
“We are going to add the ability to have multiple Spore Screen Names for any one Spore Online Account,” she said in an unlinked forum post.
“Here’s how this will work: for each copy of Spore that you have purchased, you will be able to have one Spore Online Account, just as it is now. However, we will be adding the ability to have five Spore Screen Names for that account. When you launch Spore, you will be able to log in with any of those Screen Names.”
Good news for the DRM-haters in the crowd. More through the link.

Does this mean that if I want to sell on my copy of Spore, I can’t as the game is bound to the Spore account I created when I first got it?
