September 26th, 2008 @ 18:12

According to this Kotaku story, a leaked Blockbusters memo has shown that the retailer will be dropping the price of the 40GB PS3 this weekend from $360 to $300.
It’s still unclear as to whether this is a Sony initiative or a Blockbusters “thing.”

There’s a reason this didn’t sell, and it’s because it’s almost the worst SKU they’ve EVER released.
