Xbox Live Arcade revenues up 67 per cent in August

Microsoft has announced that it saw a 58 percent increase in users buying XBLA games during its five-week Summer of Arcade program.
The period saw a number of high profile games released, including Castle Crashers, Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2, Bionic Commando: Rearmed and Braid.
Microsoft further announced that August broke the monthly revenue high by 67 percent.

Well, who’d have thought that releasing some games that were actually good and charging more money for them would turn more revenue? It’s amazing!
