Enterbrain figures have shown this morning that Xbox 360 outsold PS3 in Japan in September.
Microsoft sold 53,547 units of the 360 in the four weeks to September 28, compared with 33,071 units of the PS3.
Wii sold more than both of them put together, obviously: the machine moved 109,548 units in the month.

I think it’s more props to MS, really. They turned up, got loads of RPGs and dropped the price to an eye-watering level. They deserve to get a result.

makes you wonder if they are doing this well selling rpg’s over in japan why square wont release the next final fantasy game over there. im sure that definately would give them a good boost in console sales?

I surmise it’s a contractual thing with Sony rather than a “can’t be bothered” thing.

This generation has seen so many flying pigs.
But it’s surprising each time you spy one up in the sky.
Although they did have to undercut the Wii and moneyhat quite a few RPG’s to make it happen.

I would expect that seein that xbox is jst hittin around 1 million units people got them ps3 already. But if you think about it why wouldn’t you have one,they dirt cheap hell I’ma get one 4 fable2

Yeah, it’s so cheap these days they’re practically throwing them after you. Maybe I’ll get one after my PS3 game-buying bonaza during the next couple of months.

ye I bought mine bc of that, and I had to buy a new tv for my 360, and yes ironically its sony XD
