Sega’s put out a new video of Platinum’s MadWorld, showing the game’s motorbike and some other stuff seen off the record at Games Convention.

Have a nose. Beware: it really is violent.

You would not want to play that on a plasma.

  5. Who cares (HD gaming :( ) about plasma?

It looks awesome. Gotta admit, if this is Kamiya I dislike his work including Okami, but this looks to parody American culture somewhat, and be visceral to the audience at the same time.

Something Kamiya’s games often aim to achieve. It is Kamiya right?

    EDIT:

Back to plasma talk, is that immense screen tear or a motion blur esque effect?

Plasma thing doesn’t really have anything to do with what we saw… but high contrast (especially white on black) movement can display phosphor trails. To those that notice them, that game will be hell on earth. :)

  7. I know it’s not plasma talk, it was just graphics talk which I associated with plasma talk. And intenionally disassociated with the Wii at the start of my comment.

So you’re saying tear confirmed? That will be hell on earth even for grannies watching their kids play it who don’t know what tearing is.
