Area 51 free to download
October 7th, 2008 @ 21:00

Midway’s alien-infused, US military base-based FPS, Area 51, is now free to download.
The game was released way back in 2005 - before most of you was allowed to use your computers unsupervised - so you might want to check it out.
Get going.

is this the first one, and not the second one (the one from the picture?).
I thought Black Site was a decent enough game, worth the £12 i paid in Tesco for it anyway!

Never did get round to buying this for Xbox, despite finding the demo mildly engaging. Strange, but fun enough. Free, therefore, is not a price I’m arguing with. Nice.

The first one was a giggle. Very trashy but good fun. Lost its way a little in the final chapters though.

The first one wasn’t too bad, it definitely had an air of B-Movieness about it though. And honestly I’d recommend snagging and playing it once for that alone.
