Lara DLC detailed, dated, will never leave 360
October 7th, 2008 @ 20:39

MTV’s posted up new detail on the Tomb Raider: Underworld 360 DLC, citing an Eidos spokesperson as saying the content will only ever be available on the Microsoft machine.
Also, that story’s named the two new chapters. Apparently they’re called “Beneath the Ashes” and “Lara’s Shadow.” The former arrives by Christmas, followed by Lara’s Shadow in early 2009.

I believe they were named in the original press release.

You’re right about that, Harry.
Also, these instances of DLC sound suspiciously like the game being rushed out unfinished, and X-Box owners paying for patched-in content that PC users are accustomed to getting for free.
Sometimes I hate being right. I just hope devs see what a bad practice selling patches is before it sinks ‘em. And I can already see PS3 and PC users talking about how loose ends and things in the story will be tied up in the DLC, thus making the game sans DLC incomplete.
I told them all, but would they bloody listen? Would they my shiny posterior…

It’s not paranoia if they’re out to get you.
