Tomorrow’s TGS08 Microsoft keynote - timing and details
October 8th, 2008 @ 09:40

Can you say “Halo”? Xbox Live boss John Schappert very well may be able to tomorrow, as the exec takes to the stage at the Makuhari Messe to kick off Tokyo Game Show 2008.
His keynote is titled “A Canvas for the World,” and is expected to focus heavily on the upcoming New Xbox Experience UI update for 360 and - so say the little birds - Bungie is in Japan in force, so watch out for that.
Synchronise watches, team: Schappert’s address starts at 1200pm local time tomorrow, Thursday, October 9. According to this, that’s 4.00am UK time or 5.00am CET if you’re on the mainland.
We’ll be bringing you all the news as it happens.

They’d better not go too Halo-mental unless they want to go down like a lead balloon.
Hopefully we’ll get a final NXE date here.

I think the “Keep it Clean” thing is going to be quite prominent.

I really don’t understand why they kept that back for TGS, of all places. Why not do it at Leipzig where someone might give a shit?

Blerk: Absolutely, their Leipzig stand paled in comparison’s to Sony’s. They made a big play of the music game thing and did that reasonably well but it could have been done in half the space. It was very meagre that asides.
