WipEout HD patched, freezing fixed
October 10th, 2008 @ 20:54

WipEout HD has been patched to 1.1, as you’ll see the next time you load it. The fix apparently solves the freezing issue from the original game, where players with more than 50 people on their Friends List would get system locks.
No longer. Go and blow someone up.

Would be nice if this has fixed the leaderboard issues?

Just going to have a look now - hopefully those leaderboards are sorted…

Indeed they are! I took a look earlier…all those global number ones of mine have vanished haha

heh - yeah mine too
I’m nudging the top 100 on a few of the venom multiplayer boards though
I don’t hold out much hope for rapier … I’m lucky if I get close to the top 1000 in the single player race boards for that now
It’s weird though - the boards that you get immediately after a race seem solid enough. But the boards you can access from the main menu seem a touch b0rked to me.

haha the boards immediately after the race have showed me top of the world so many times it hurts! haha

Hooray for a fix to the freezing issues.
I wish I’d seen the bug that put me at the top of the global leader-boards though.
…lucky buggers.
