Opposedly, many people I’ve known have said that Marvel vs Capcom 2 is seriously imbalanced. I used to have a fighter fanatic of a friend who cussed frequently about this, especially how Megaman was so much shorter than everyone else and could therefore pull off some really cheap victories by exploiting the game engine which didn’t quite know how to deal with short characters.

As I said though, this doesn’t tarnish the fun factor but it doesn’t make it Street Fighter: Third Strike either, and nor should it be considered as an equal to such games. On the Capcom fighter ladder, it’s at about the same place as the Dark Stalkers games.

It’s just a difference of opinion really, but I happen to be a long time fighting fan too so I think I’m entitled to it.

If it’s on the cheapish side, I’ll likely be picking this up. I can’t see them charging a lot for it though, because as fun as Marvel vs Capcom 2 was, it wasn’t Capcom’s finest hour. It was horribly imbalanced compared to the Capcom fighters that came before it, and that didn’t work in its favour. But it was fun, oh fun.
