- Active Live members with 256 or 512 MU but no HDD: Offered 20GB HDD for £12.99
- Console has not connected to XBL 12 month and doesn’t possess MU: Offered 20gb HDD and 3 month Xbox Live £19.99

Argh! What to do, should I buy a xbox 360 and feel the wrath of my mrs or what? I dunno

£100 incurs the wrath of your missus? Poor guy.
Buy her Zuma or something, or maybe don’t. My other half got addicted to it.

My missus would fucking murder me if I went out and spent a ton.

I guess I’m lucky. I bought a HDTV as a surprise and she didn’t bat an eyelid.
But then I did spend a couple of grand on her 30th a month or so back so maybe that bought me credit.

I suppose if I like, actually had a full-time job and my own money it’d be different.

So, apparently, the HDs are refurbs (according to a linked-to site).
What happens when they run out of refurb stock? Do they proclaim ‘unprecedented demand’ or something?

Probably, yes. I’d wager most of the people that actually use this service go for the memory card though as I can’t imagine the sort of cheap arse that bought the core / arcade particularly likes spending money.

It’s good MS are doing this but you have to admit it’s a right old mess.
