Yep, I frequently comment on his blog.

Looks astounding, but I PERSONALLY think he's a misguided in terms of game design. And I can't bare to pay subscription fees, so I don't know if I'll get a chnace to experience it.

I've been waiting for this for what feels like forever.

It's basically an entirely procedurally created game, that's... insane. It's brilliant but it's also wholly unbalanced. I want to meet this Eskil at some point and either hug him or buy him a native beer of his choice just for being so damned crazy.

Even the characters the players play will work within this system and will be customisable in untold ways.

Oh and there are player-buildable elements within the game aswell, which can also be deformed and destroyed within that system, either by attacks or even the environment (there's a tectonics system in place). So if a player built something they'd have to defend it and maintain it, which puts a completely new spin on the concept of a player-run city.

There are just so many things this game does that excite me. And due to the clever use of shaders in the game, some of the scenes look like paintings, they're just that pretty. Take a look at some of Eskil's previous shots to see what I'm talking about, there.

The only sad part is that Eskil only cares to have a 100 or so unique individuals in this game. And as peculiar as I am, I doubt I'll make the cut and get to play it.

/fury

But I'm going to try, this is one game that's been at the back of my mind ever since I heard about it.
