Ghostbusters gone to Atari, is a year away

According to this Kotaku piece, Dan Aykroyd said on a US radio show today that Ghostbusters is to be published by Atari.
And that it won’t be coming out for a year.
At least it is actually on its way. Terminal Reality will be pleased.

Weird. I’d gotten the impression that it was nearly done before. There was talk before of them holding it back to coincide with the film’s 25 year anniversary, so perhaps that’s it.

It was originally on track for November, iirc.

I’ll be interested to hear the reasons the devs have for the delay, though. I’m personally hoping that it’s to do some serious polishing up after narrowly escaping an Activision rush-job.

You’re worried about an Activision rush job? You’ve obviously never seen an Atari rush job…
