PES 09 looks destined to score lower than FIFA 09
October 15th, 2008 @ 16:20

EA will probably already be soaked in champagne, covered in streamers and pushing for the “wrong hole” with the secretary in the cleaning cupboard: it looks as though FIFA 09 is going to beat PES 09 at review.
It’s probably going to be a close thing, but the games on Metacritic seems staggered in the opposite direction to normal, with the PS3 version of FIFA on 87 with most reviews in, and PES on 86 after the first - usually the most positive - reviews now in place.
Eurogamer’s just scored PES a 7/10 compared to its 8/10 FIFA review, a fact that’s likely to snap a small part of the internet, especially in Europe.
Keep an eye on that Metacritic PES score, football franchise fight fans.

Serves you right Seabass - what the fuck are you playing at? PES has been broken since you released number 6. It’s a travesty. It’s like they’ve put McClaren in charge of it or something.
